A number of movies and TV shows have been made where they bring awareness to the life poor people are subjected to on a daily. In most cases people who are cast to play such roles are often of a darker tone, this leads to a light skinned black person to be cast to portray a role of a middle class or rich individual. A Zimbabwean actress and comedian has evoked a debate after posting a photo of herself at a village looking poor and darker.

Tarisai Cleopatra Chikocho who’s popularly known as Madam Boss is currently shooting a movie in her home country Zimbabwe. The actress recently posted a photo of herself taken on set on her Facebook page, her caption spoke about the difficulties that comes with poverty.
