Nqobile Khumalo popular known as Nunu is a South African actress, model and business women best known for her controversial roles on Mzansi television shows such as Isibaya, Soul City, and Scandal.

Before fame and fortune, Nqobile started modelling at the age of 12 years old and has grown into one of Mzansi’s fastest rising stars. Earlier in her career she was fortunate enough to work closely with an Oscar-nominated Lawrence Fishburne in the BET Madiba mini-series as well as starring in over 13 television drama series proudly produced here in South Africa.

Miss Khumalo was born on the 15th of April, 1992 in Midrand, Gauteng. The 30 year old attended the St Mary’s Diocesan School for Girls in Pretoria. Then after her secondary school education, she studied at Midrand Graduate Institute until she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nqobile is not only a gifted actress but a spontaneous young lady whose a brand ambassador, writer, motivational speaker and philanthropist. Few years ago the star founded ‘Feed’ which is a registered PBO dedicated to providing fresh meals to underprivileged people and families. Allegedly Khumalo made her first television appearance at the age of 9 years on the Felicia Mabuza Show.

Every time the star appears on screen, her followers and viewers instantly remember her previous roles that she has played in the past. Including her role as Hlengiwe Twala on e.tv drama series ‘Scandal’. In recognition of her impact, she bagged an International Award for Best African Actress in 2019. She received the award at The New Vision International Film Festival held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
