Letoya Makhene and his wife Lebo Makhene-Pulumo fear for their lives after being attacked by his ex-lover Tshepo Leeuw and his family. Before getting married to now her wife Lebo, Generations The Legacy actress Letoya was in a romantic relationship with Tshepo.

Letoya and Tshepo have a son together, but they called it quits in 2019 after Letoya discovered that she was not into men but women. A lot of drama surrounded their break-up as Tshepo was still in denial of their fallout. However, the two later settled their differences and decided to co-parent their son together.

After visiting Tshepo, when they were about to take their leave, Tshepo gave them a small plastic that had food for his son. Letoya and Lebo refused to accept the paper bag and asked him to do the delivery himself, and he got angry.
