Friends off screens? Gomora actress Ama Qamata who plays the role of Buhle hangs out with her onscreen brother Siya Xaba who played Langa Ndaba on the Mzansi Magic soap opera. On Gomora, the pair were Thati and Mbongeni Ndaba’s only children, whose lives changed for the worst after the death of their father in a botched hijacking incident.

Life after Gomora
After a painful Gomora exit through death, Siya Xaba disappeared from onscreen life. Qualified with a Degree in Drama and Production Arts, he is actively pursuing a career on the reverse side of the cameras as a film director. In collaboration with former colleagues on Gomora, Siphesihle Ndaba (Mazet), and Ama Qamata (Buhle), he managed to direct and produce a short film titled Carrots which streamed on Showmax.
