The cancellation of Mzansi’s Magic drama series The Queen was revealed a few months ago. Mzansi, however, was shocked to learn that the drama series had been terminated after at least seven years on the air. Mzansi Magic announced that the drama series that everyone enjoys hating would not be renewed for a second season.

“After almost seven years on broadcast, the Mzansi Magic soap will not be renewed for a second season. The program will likely finish this year if no alterations are made to meet the conclusion of the stories.

The drama series has lost its storyline and is failing to attract viewers. Gomora has surpassed it as the most-watcheddrama series on Mzansi Magic over the previous two years.

However, the drama series joins a plethora of other cancelled shows, such as iSibaya. As the season of the drama serotonin concludes, it has been finished with a plenty of drama. We can all agree that the plot of the drama series has more than done justice to the performers who have left the group.

Following the cancellation of the drama series, there has been a tremendous exodus from the program. The leading actors have abandoned the drama series at the eleventh hour. Rapulana Seiphemo, who portrays Hector, has bid farewell to his on-screen persona despite leaving Generations for The Queen.

Nonetheless, it is intriguing that the showrunners have managed to kill off three main characters inside one week. Harriet employs snipers to kill Hector after being rejected by him. Hector gets killed by a sniper as he is beaming and looks in love.

Cebo narrowly averted death, however, as Thando’s character, portrayed by Jessica Nkosi, mistook him for the assassin. Instead, Thando fired a point-blank shot at MaJali after Cebo evaded his gunfire.
