The actor and Nana Mthethwa, his fiancee, are expecting their first child together.
Fanele, who plays NJ Cele on 1Magic’s telenovela Lingashoni, told the Daily Sun that he was overjoyed when he heard the news.
“Funnily enough, I was the one who suspected she was pregnant because she became ill at random.”
“I was on my way to work one day when I bought a pregnancy test, which confirmed everything to us,” he explained.
“At first, I was in disbelief and shock, and then I was overcome by excitement.” I began planning because I want to give my child everything I lacked as a child.”
The 25-year-old admitted that the first few months of Nana’s pregnancy were difficult.
She was very sick for the first five months, but it has been a beautiful journey since then. “I’ve been to every scan, and seeing my child grow is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen in my life,” he said.
“My favorite memory has to be the first time I felt the baby kick.”
Fanele stated that they knew the child’s gender but wanted it to be a surprise. He stated that, despite the fact that he had recently proposed to Nana, they were not in a hurry to marry. He also stated that they intended to postpone having a second child.
“If we decide to add more family members, we should do so when she is happy where she is and has accomplished the majority of her dreams,” he said.
Fanele also stated that 2022 would be a significant year for him.
“I’ve landed my first lead role in a Netflix series.” That is something everyone should be looking forward to.
“I’m really excited about it because it means more growth for me,” he explained.
