They say education is paramount regardless of which career field you would like to pursue. School teaches us a lot of things including critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and just how to interact with people around us and learn to work together. Yet in South Africa today so many young children find it difficult to go to school for a lot of reasons such as having no money for school fees and in the case of government schools, some are so far that children have to walk kilometers to get there, but the most painful and heart-aching situations are when you find out that yes there is a free governmental school near you despite the fact that there is a high probability that they are no school chairs and tables or even running clean water you have to worry about your child not having for to eat.
It is said that children who do not eat breakfast at home or at school were less able to learn. Hunger can lead to lower math scores, attention problems, behavior, emotional, and academic problems. This is why Twitter users are applauding this young many who the picture was posted on the famous social media platform holding up a placard which stated” free breakfast for all underprivileged school children”. From Twitter comments the person’s name is Jacob Jay Madisha from Atteridgeville.
