It all started with a discovery of a secret that one of Mantuli’s children is not a Seakamela. At first it was Pretty. This was because of the treatment she had received as a child from her father. She felt rejected.

 

 

 

 

 

But it was not that way. The one who was loved the most by Seakamela and embraced by him is the one who found out that he is a Maputla.

According to John, this was as a result of a one night stand. He had supposedly forgotten about that moment he shared with “Julie”.

This discovery tore the two families of what were true best of friends apart. As a result, Meikie went on a shooting spree on the day the DNA test results confirmed that Zamo is indeed John Maputla’s son.

It seemed like her aim and intension was to kill Zamo, but Mantuli jumped on in front of her son. She took some of the bullets for him. The truth is, Meikie is gun-crazed. That gun of hers makes her feel like she can turn the whole Turfloop upside down. After the shooting, she was arrested. She only stayed in that prison cell for a couple of days. She then escaped and was allegedly assisted by a young police officer who is in a relationship with Ntsobe, the lady who works at the Maputla Supermarket.

The police couldn’t find her for days, until the day Mapitsi was on her way moving out. Babeile came in unannounced and unexpectedly. He assumed that, the Maputlas were trying to help Meikie escape.

That wasn’t so. They had actually agreed that they would take Meikie to the police station to hand herself over. At that very moment, they arrested her and she hasn’t received bail. Everything single time that she has applied for bail, the application has been denied. But this time around, she will return looking like the shadow of her former self.

With Meikie being as unpredictable as she is, Mapitsi and John will really be uncomfortable with her return. Tbose will be excited because his mother would have returned home just in time for his wedding.

Moruti told John that, a home without a mother is very cold, as he had felt that even in Mantuli’s house. Will John and Meikie mend their relationship or John will proceed with his plan to divorce Meikie?

With Zamo having allegedly bought a gun, is there more drama looming between him and his stepmother’s household? With Mantuli super afraid of Meikie, will she still want to go back to Turf even after finding out that she has been released on bail?
