Viggy and Virginia Qwabe, who are twins in Mzansi, go by the name Qwabe. This year marks the twins Qwabe’s 23rd birthday.

This band, hailing from Nonoti in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, has already proven they have what it takes to make it big with their excellent debut. Their free download single “Hamba” featured Dj Tira. The Qwabe twins consider this to be their finest hour on Dj Tira’s Afrotainment label, where the song was recorded.

 

 

 

 

 

Nobody knew who the Qwabe twins were until they competed on American Idol. The success of the Afro-pop duet was initially noticed on the African continent. The identical Qwabe twins walked right up and started singing along. Their upbringing was distinctly Christian.
