Gugu Gumede is a South African actress recognized on SABC1 soap Uzalo as MaMlambo. On 10 December this year the South African actress will celebrate her 29th birthday.
Many are surely astonished that Gugu Gumede is just 29 years old. Well, I’m not shocked, because she plays MaMlambo on the SABC1 show, which makes her look as if she is an old woman, about 45 years of age. The 29-year-old was born on the side of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban and she grew up there.
Gugu Gumede is one of Uzalo’s longest serving performers. She was at Uzalo for five years already, while in 2015 she started to perform the character of MaMlambo. The South African actress used to perform the part of Mandisa for the SABC1 telenovela Generations.
Many people may not know about it, but Gugu is the daughter of Zanele Magwaza-Msibi, the famous politician. The founder of the NFP is Magwaza-Msibi. Check out the images of MaMlambo:
