TV showrunner duo, Connie and Shona Ferguson scooped up this 8-bed, 8-bath mansion for a cool R19 million. The Ferguson family has called it home for oa few years now. Sadly Connie’s husband, Shona, passed away this year after a short illness.
The Fergusons amassed their fortune through their decades long acting careers, brand endorsements, their production deals with African media giant, Multichoice, their successful award-winning personal care brand, “Connie Body Care”, and through many other investments.
Publicly available records show that this mansion which is somewhere in Johannesburg isn’t the Fergusons’ only home. They’ve built quite an impressive property portfolio. They own two more mansions, another 4-bed home, and a business property also in Johannesburg. Yikes!
This home boasts several amenities including a home gym which we have seen many times on Instagram since the Fergusons love to work out. The house also has a wine cellar, wine lounge, a cinema, a lift that can take you to the top level and a 6-car garage that houses their flashy cars including a BMW i8, Mercedes Benz G Class and a Rolls Royce among others.
The manicured grounds scream money. The high walls offer them much needed privacy from us nosey people. Askies, Fergusons, we don’t mean to be all up in your business. We’re just intrigued.
The view is to die for.
The rooms boast luxury furniture pieces from upscale brands like Caracole. The blue dining chairs below are from Christopher Guy. If you like them, they will set you back a cool $2400 per chair. That’s R36000 for ONE chair. Wow!
I want this bedroom. Do you think they are interested in adopting?
Their foyer alone is the size of my entire house.
The view of the mansion from the backyard. In my opinion, Connie lives better than Harriet Khoza on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen.
The view from the front entrance of the mansion. A house fit for Queens and Kings of Jozi.
It’s safe to say that the Fergusons have arrived. What’s your favourite part of the home?
