Just last year when the show was introduced, Mzansi aired out their complaints about the nature of Uyajola 9/9 and the way it paints the black community.

The Broadcasting Complaints Commission of SA (BCCSA) has even said they received multiple complaints about the show for being too violent and the strong language content.
However, now the reality show is the most-watched show on DStv boasting over 2.5 million viewers, since the last stats were released, not only in South Africa but globally.
Going about their usual day, Jub Jub and his crew got stopped by a woman who sang their praises, applauding the work they are doing for communities. She thanked the crew for educating people about infidelity and how much it damages families.
“This is all I need on the road to know we doing a good job, all this is for you who have supported me. An award wouldn’t bring this much joy to my heart 🙏🏽 so (thank you so) much to everyone around the Globe watching my show,” he captioned his post.
