A former actor on Rhythm City was caught pretending to be a doctor, look who he is

Last year, a nurse at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital seems to have stopped a potential disaster from happening when TV personality Zola Hashatsi allegedly pretended to be a doctor in one of the wards and tried to treat a sick patient.

The matron, who spoke to City Press on the condition of anonymity, said that she saw a stranger with a stethoscope talking to a patient to the point where he was giving them medicine. She talked about what happened.

When I saw him, I didn’t know who he was, so I went up to him and asked. He told me he was a physician. Since this was the first time I’d seen him, I asked him where he was from. He got angry and wouldn’t answer my question.

Faith Nketsi and Nzuzo Njilo’s story ends in tears.

The matron told her bosses about the scary event, and they called the police. She didn’t find out that Hashatsi was a well-known actor on an e.t.v. soap opera until she gave her statement to the police while they were looking into the case. Hashatsi became well-known when he played Shakes Zondi on the drama series Rhythm City.

Mavela Masondo, a police spokesman, confirmed that a case was opened a year ago and that Hashatsi was arrested for fraud and pretending to be a doctor.

“They caught the suspect.” “He was brought to court, but the court dropped the case,” he said.

City Press asked the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) about the case to find out how and why it was dropped, but they were unable to get an answer.

Paul Mashatile gets married, which is a surprise to many.

The docket will be available later, spokeswoman Phindi Mjonondwane said.

The nurse said that the event made other staff members worry about the safety of the hospital.

She added:

We have no sense of safety at all. I also worry about the patients’ lives since anyone can come and treat them without a license.

She said that Hashatsi’s presence scared her because the head of the department hadn’t told the staff about him.

“All new staff members, even doctors, are usually introduced to everyone.” “That’s something that all hospitals do,” she said.

When asked about the claim, Hashatsi denied it and said he didn’t know anything about it. He told me, ”

I don’t understand what you’re saying. A surgeon is the only doctor I am.

When the paper came out, City Press was still waiting for the hospital to answer the questions they had sent.
