A South African actress Connie Chiume is celebrating 44 years into the South African television and film industry. The actress shared with the source that for the past years in the industry it wasn’t like walking in the park, she said she is well aware of rejections when she applies to companies even in agencies.

Connie Chiume came to limelight in the early 1980’s when she plays in number of local productions including Khululeka, Sgud’ Snaysi and many others. The actress just scoop a lifetime achievement award on the South African film and television awards few weeks ago, which proves that the actress is the living legend.

Many will remember her when she portraits the role of Mamkete on the Etv axed soap Rhythm City and now she is currently with Gomora .
