AKA, actual name Kiernan Forbes, and his fiancée Nelli Tembe have discussed their turbulent and sad relationship once more. This comes after the NPA decided to look into the unsolved death of Tembe that occurred more than two years ago again.

 

 

 

Following the announcement, Twitter sleuths have gone berserk with discussion and conspiracies about what caused the victims’ deaths.

In February, the muso on Florida Road in Durban was shot and killed outside a restaurant. After Nelli allegedly took her own life in April 2021 by jumping off the balcony of a hotel in Cape Town, it has been almost two years since his passing.

Following the passing of Tembe, AKA acknowledged having a “toxic” connection with her. The rapper was also charged with torturing the 22-year-old physically and mentally.

Both died on the street

According to police reports, 22-year-old Nelli Tembe fell to her death on 11 April from her Pepper Club Hotel balcony, located on the corners of Loop and Bloem Street, in the Cape Town city centre.

AKA was shot and killed outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road.

Mysterious situations

AKA and his companion Tebello Tibz Motsoane were killed by gunfire, according to the police, after two males approached them and opened fire. Following that, the men took off.

Nelli Tembe’s death was classified by the NPA as a “suicide investigation,” but the latter stated that there were “elements of suspicion of a murder” in the case, according to City Press.
