It is not so long ago since Makhadzi and DJ Maphorisa were leading social media trends. DJ Maphorisa was in the news after being arrested for allegedly hitting his girlfriend, Thuli Phongolo. On the other side, Makhadzi shockingly parted ways with her former employers, Open Mic Productions.

Makhadzi has last night posted an update about a meeting of the two musicians and what they are up to. The singer indicated that, she is doing some music with the popular Amapiano hit maker.

“Studio session with my favorite DJ, Maphorisa. Making the hits.” Makhadzi shared with her followers on social media last night.

Although it is good to know that the Limpopo superstar is making another music, following her tension with former record company, some fans gave her advice. “Don’t sign anything without legal representation, please.” One follower said.

“Read the contract and understand it with your lawyer. We are tired of defending you,” another user said. The legal advice was probably influenced by Makhadzi’s previous allegations that she didn’t get her royalties and benefits for her previous work at Open Mic Productions.
