It was also promoted through mainstream sports sponsorship deals.
The PRIME energy drink raised some serious concerns following the price of the energy drink. People feel that it’s just too much. And the sad part is that kids want to try this drink, but some parents are saying there’s no way they will ever buy it.
Leanne Mana is one of those parents. Leanne took to social media to share her concern about the drink and the price. This is what Leanne posted. Leanne wrote After my kids started asking me for a bottle of this latest craze called Prime, an energy/hydration drink. I found out the price and nearly fell over!
My conclusion – is supply & demand, mega-famous social media influencers, WWE, Arsenal whatever. I think this is crazy!
My best mate called me laughing from NY saying it sells there for $2 (R37) a bottle! Moral of the story – think carefully before wasting your money on hype.
Secondly, I ain’t spending my money on that stuff for my kids – they can whistle to the bank manager for a loan.
People started commenting after Leanne posted, and some people agree with her. Someone posted This is Madness at its first class.
Another one also posted saying: Most definitely Agree with you.
People are not happy with this, will PRIME get customers caused by the look of things people seem not to be interested in buying this drink?
