Mroza Fakude shared his heartfelt about the music industry
Mroza expressed his grief at the funeral service of bass guitarist, Aaron Makhude Mkhize at Phola Park Hall in Ekurhuleni on Saturday. Mroza said that he loved the deceased and was willing to contribute to the donation but he did not have anything.
When Mroza became an independent artist, the news spread that he has a headache and he is no longer attending the events he has been employed at. However, he is returning to the music which he is being assisted by Thokozani “Somnandi” Langa.
At the funeral, Somnandi announced that traditional music artists were able to collect a donation of R8 700. Ntencane said he wishes to stop selling CDs because it starves the musicians, he may consider only performing in events.
Maqhude Mkhize who was buried over the weekend after he passed away.
Makhude died at the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital in Johannesburg, in the early hours of last Saturday, after suffering from breathing problems and complaining of chest pains. His illness started in 2020 when he suffered a stroke and fell unconscious at a petrol station. He went in and out of hospitals until he could not bear to die. Makhude from KwaMaphumulo, KZN, is survived by his wife and children, and is buried in the Elsburg cemetery, Ekurhuleni.
