It has been over a month since rapper AKA was murdered in Durban. He was shot outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road as he due to perform a club gig later. It is safe to say that there hasn’t been any substantial advancement made by the police, atleast as far as public knowledge. The public has been calling for justice as many continue to push law enforcement.

The latest episode of My Guest Tonight with Annika Larsen featured a bodyguard from Durban. This mean claims to have worked with the late AKA for 8 years whenever he would be in Durban. He went on to share that he wasn’t available on the night of the murder, however he let fans in on the type of protocol that would’ve been followed on the night.

This bodyguard shared that protocol was broken by AKA’s leading up to the incident. He revealed that he wasn’t supposed to be at Wish Restaurant as he wasn’t booked for any gig. He elaborated that his road manager was supposed to decline the invite ans suggested that it would’ve been that way should he had been present.

This sparked social media up as many raised suspicions on those who were around AKA at the time. This was further fueled by AKA’s younger brother, Steffan Forbes sharing a cryptic on social media. His post seemed to suggest that he is aware of the possibility of someone in the team betraying him.

The bodyguard emphasized that they were totally exposed and this ultimately led to passing of AKA. There’s nothing fans want to see more than justice and it is important to keep speaking about it. The story is continuing to unfold and possibly his killers will be exposed and arrested.
