We have known her for being in Scandal for many years and we never thought that she would leave the show for greener pastures. In one interview, she revealed why she left the show. She mentioned:

“I’ve been wanting to leave; I’ve been wanting to leave that place. For me, it had been something I’d been praying about [and] when it finally happened, it really felt like God removing me from a really toxic environment.” It seems like ever since she made an exit on the show, the star has been living her best life.
