South Africans were left at a loss for words when rapper Emtee took to his Instagram Live to humiliate his wife. However, he exposed himself because his wife showed proof that he was abusing her.

His wife and the mother of his children, Nicole Chinsamy, revealed that Emtee physically assaulted her while she was 7 months pregnant.

Women For Change, a a non-profit organization that advocates for the protection of the constitutional rights of women and children in South Africa, took to their Twitter account to voice out their opinion.

They tweet, “Nicole, we believe you! Mthembeni Ndevu, better known as Emtee, allegedly abused his wife Nicole. Emtee is the father of their two children, and she’s currently pregnant. Nicole, we stand behind you, with thousands of other women having your back. A case was opened this morning against Emtee by his wife.

Let’s not protect alleged abusers because they are your ‘loved’ celebrities! Speak up against GBV! It’s overdue!”
