There is tension between Nota Baloyi and Yanga Chief due to different perspectives on a situation involving AKA and Don Design.

Nota revealed that he used to pay rent for hip-hop artist Yanga Chief.
My mom used to take care of you like his own son said Nota.

 

 

 

Nota recons Don Design was supposed to do better to protect AKA given the evidence on the footage.

From Nota’s perspective, he feels that Yanga should be grateful for the help and support he has received in the past. Nota says that he took care of Yanga and even provided him with a car.

Nota was surprised when Yanga returned the car without having serviced it and felt that this showed a lack of gratitude.

Nota previously flew to Cape Town to support AKA when he was struggling, he did not trust those who were around him, because he is convinced that they are there for a pay cheque. AKA was at his lowest point.

However, Yanga sees the situation differently. He feels that Nota is being unfair in his criticism of Don Design, and is defending his friend and business partner.

Yanga claims that Nota has turned his back on him. Nota claim that Yanga made a wrong move, by going into a partnership with people who have stolen money from him.
Nota can’t believe that AKA’s right-hand man is not angry that AKA passed away.

He recons now that AKA is gone. Yanga will probably make more money and take the spotlight.

Yanga are you doing this because you are about to make more money he said.

Is it about the cheese he said?

“You killed AKA,” said Nota.
