Dali Mpofu’s son shared his photo with AKA and people said this about it.

It appears that the late AKA had so many friends than we can think of. Dali Mpofu’s son, Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh is among the people who rubbed shoulders with the late musician. But, who would have imagined Dali Mpofu’s son making music?

Well, Sizwe Mpofu-Walsh has indicated that he spent time making music with AKA when they were grown-up. He said this when he shared his tribute to the late musician as he sent his condolences.

“Rocked to my core at the news of Kiernan’s death. Though our lives went in different directions, and we hadn’t spoken in years, I’ll never forget the times we shared making music. He was destined for greatness from then. Deepest sympathies with Uncle Tony, Aunt Lynn and Steffan.” He said.

Sizwe was then also comforted for losing his old friend. “I’m sorry for your loss, son. I will always remember Kiernan as one of the brave young men that stood against racism and called out his alma mater, saying “not in my name.” And the magnificent contribution he has made to South African music. My prayers are for his parents and family.”

Those who follow Sizwe closely commented on how the duo made good music together. “I was just reminded of your interview with Nkululeko, and you spoke about how you had hope that one day you’d reconnect with Kiernan. I’m sorry, my brother.” A social media user said.

“Sorry for your loss, Dr. Despite going different directions, people we were close to leave a mark in our hearts. He seemed like such a happy person, and for him to be murdered in cold blood is sad. Life really is becoming cheap in this world we live in. My heart goes out to his loved ones.” Nara Mabindla commented.
