South African trio makes Mzansi proud with their outstanding achievement.

Social Media is buzzing with congratulatory messages to South African musicians, Zakes Bantwini, Nomcebo Zikode and Wouter Kellerman for winning Global awards. The three artists have won Grammy Awards and South Africans are happy that the global awards are coming home.

The three artists made a collaboration and released a song titled Bayethe which got them on the global charts. They have now won the Grammy for the Best Global Music Performance for the song. Credit goes to their great teamwork and support they got from South Africans and the global community.

The EFF is one of the political parties that wished them well. “EFF congratulates Zakes Bantwini, Nomcebo Zikode and Wouter Kellerman on winning the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Performance, for their hit single Bayethe this victory once again reaffirms the depth of talent in South African music industry which is globally recognized and appreciated.” The fighters said.

“Two Kings and a Queen. Congratulations Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini and Nomcebo Zikode for bringing the Grammy Awards home.” A social media user said.

The Democratic Alliance has also celebrated our stars and said, “Congratulations to Zakes Bantwini, Wouter Kellerman, and Nomcebo Zikode who bagged the Best Global Music Performance Award at this year’s Grammys in Los Angeles.”

Indeed their win is putting the South African music industry on the map and adding more to the success of our artists who have won the Award before. In South Africa the Awards were previously won by Black Coffee, Merriam Makeba, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and the Soweto Gospel Choir. Their hardwork was not in vain. Congratulations to them.
