While Mthokozisi Khathi is his real name, DJ Tira is the one that has become more widely recognized. He’s a DJ, record producer, and musician from South Africa who specializes in the Kwaito genre. He hails from the town of KwaHlabisa in the province of KwaZulu-Natal and is currently signed to the label Afrotainment. This has led to his name becoming universally recognized very quickly.

Dj Tira and his lovely wife Gugu Khathi have been together for quite some time, and their union has resulted in the birth of three children: Junior and Chase, all boys, and Chichi Khathi, a girl.
