Mzansi Attacks Arthur Mafokate After He Cried During An Interview Trying To Clear His Name

Majority of the time, when celebrities find themselves in a scandalous situation, they always make sure that they address the public to set the record straight if the scandalous news about them might be fake and just used as a stunt to attack them. And most of the time they do this by going to interviews, or some of them don’t say much but release a statement on social media explaining themselves and setting the record straight.

But others will take it as far as going to one-on-one interviews that will only focus on them and the situation; this is what musician Arthur Mafokate did. A few weeks ago, South Africans were left in shock when it was reported that Arthur Mafokate, amongst two other celebrities, were being investigated by the SIU and all their properties were frozen. This was after investigations were conducted about the fraud that took place in the National Lottery Commission.

When the news broke out early, many South Africans were in shock, and it also resulted in their viewing some of these celebrities differently because they never thought that they would be individuals who were involved in the alleged corruption and also stealing from the poor. Because it is alleged that the money they were given was meant for the disadvantaged, but instead they took it for their own personal use.

Arthur Mafokate decided that he was going to set the record straight and address all these allegations about him, but certificates were not impressed when the interview trended on social media platforms, and some said that the interview was horrible and Arthur was acting. When he was asked about the allegations against him, he started pretending as if he was overly emotional and did not say much about the fraud allegations. Some people reacted by saying that he tried to pull a PR stunt that did not work and just made him look like he is guilty of the crimes he is accused of.
