Cardi B is the stage name of Belcalis Almanzar, an American rapper from New York City. She was raised in The Bronx and gained notoriety when she posted about her work as a str*pper on social media. When combined with her “no filter attitude,” she rose to fame on Instagram.
She was a regular cast member on the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop: New York from 2015 to 2017. She and Atlantic Records agreed to a major label album deal in February 2017. Bodak Yellow, her first single for Atlantic, debuted at the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the second female rapper in history to do so with a solo release (Lauryn Hill achieved it in 1998). The track was included on her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy (2018).
She recently posted a picture with the caption ” second day of community service” but some people couldn’t help but notice the bottle of catch up on her sofa, claiming it will go bad if not placed on a fridge.
