Sponge Wodumo is the son of popular gqhom artists, Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo. The two have been married for years and they have a reality show together. Late of 2022, just before Christmas, it was announced that Mampintsha has sadly passed away after suffering a stroke.

It was indeed sad news and the whole country sent its condolences to Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s mom.

It has only been a few weeks since the funeral and today it has been announced that Mampintsha’s mom has also passed away. She suffered a stroke shortly after the funeral and was admitted in hospital. Today, Mampintsha’s mom who was only 64 years of age has joined her son in the after life.

It is sad to see that Sponge is so young and has already lost both his father and grandmother. Although Babes Wodumo did not get along with Mampintsha’s mother, she asked for forgiveness and also forgave Mampintsha’s mom for all her wrong doing.
