Self-proclaimed Gqom queen Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane has received some tongue lashing after it was announced that her mother-in-law Zamanguni Gumede has passed on.

Tweeps believe worsened Zamanguni’s illness after the passing of her son by not following tradition and mourning Mampintsha as expected. Zamanguni spoke to Zimoja early this month and expressed her unhappiness after she saw videos of Babes trending on the internet for dancing and performing at nightclubs just days after her son’s funeral. Tweeps are not holding back after it was announced that Babes Wodumo’s mother-in-law Zamanguni Gumede passed on after suffering a minor stroke at Wentworth hospital on Sunday night 16 January.
