Ruth went to visit Koloi’s uncle and when she arrived, Koloi’s uncle asked her what she wanted. Ruth asked Koloi’s uncle if he had spoken to Koloi ever since he went to Joburg and he told her that he tried to call him but he did not answer his phone. Ruth told him that she thinks that something bad has happened to him because she also tried to call him but his phone was off.

Koloi’s uncle took Ruth and went with her to Charlie’s shop so that he could buy airtime. Charlie overheard them talking about Koloi and told them that Koloi will never find a job in Joburg. Clement heard them talking and told them that he also thinks that something bad might have happened to him. Koloi’s uncle decided to go to the police but before going there, he called Koloi’s father and told him what was happening.
