If there are a few people in Mzansi who like to confuse their enemies, it’s Makhadziand Master KG.
The pair have been in an on-off relationship for the past three years, and this time Master KG is responsible for starting the rumor mill about an “official breakup.”
In a now-deleted Facebook post, the musician and music producer announced that while he and his ‘Queen’ Makazi are no longer together, they will continue to work together for the sake of their fans.
Sharing Master KG’s post, Makhadzi claimed it was a mistake, leading people to believe this was another publicity stunt the pair had become known for.
Last May, Makhadzi shared a piece of coverage of the split between the two on his Facebook timeline, claiming it was “fake news.” The Limpopo celebrity couple first publicly split in 2020 after deciding to focus on their careers.
“Me and Makhadzi separated a few months ago to focus on our careers. We are still young and have a lot of great things to accomplish. I hope you respect.I will not answer anymore. Thank you,” said Master KG.
The two met again just before Valentine’s Day.
The Ghanaian hitmaker shared a photo on Instagram of the two enjoying a romantic candlelight dinner to celebrate the day.
In addition to good food and great company, there was live music, roses, candles, and lots of hickeys.
“Me and Makazi separated a few months ago to focus on my career. We are still young and have a lot of great things to accomplish. (We) hope everyone understands and respects that. Thank you,” Master KG wrote on Facebook.
“Yes, our relationship is over. Please respect our decision,” Mahaj told her Chronicle, confirming the news.
Now that the two stars have reached the peak of their fame, Mzansi seems confident their relationship has been rekindled.
This was after Mahaj shared her Facebook Live during her studio session with Master KG on Friday. Meanwhile, she danced and sang an unreleased love song while pointing at each other.
