We had no idea that this would be her last game as a sophomore “According to the Hughes family’s GoFundMe website. “She was driven, devoted, and passionate. She adored dancing, singing, and spending time with her loved ones. She referred to football as her true love in life. She had strong affection for many people. We all miss her and will miss her.
Hold up the #7 for her! She always wanted to do well by her first football number because it was so special to her!” Dr. Jesus Jara, superintendent of the CCSD, stated in a statement, “We are extremely saddened by the loss of this young life, and our sympathies are with the pupils’ friends, family, and loved ones.
