On January 5, 2023, the dead body of 26-year-old Thobile Skhosana was found in a river in Khathazweni, outside of Hlogotlou. Thobile, who lives in Matsitsi Village near Groblersdal, was last seen at a New Year’s Eve party in Sehlakwane Village on December 31, 2022. The party was held on a local sports field. A 40-year-old man is said to have lured Thobile to a nearby bush, where he raped and killed her. The suspect has been caught and is facing murder and kidnapping charges.
This morning, the body of the deceased Thobile Vinolia Skhosana will be laid to rest in the village of Matsitsi, which is located within the Elias Motsoaledi Municipality and falls under the jurisdiction of the Sekhukhune District. This past Thursday morning, the body of a 26-year-old woman was discovered in some bushes, having been raped and then strangled to death.
Last weekend, Skhosana was reported missing while she was at a party celebrating New Year’s Eve. Kgomotso Tiger Mogola, a guy in his forties who is suspected of killing an EFF member on the specified day, was detained by the police and given the name Kgomotso Tiger Mogola. Since she had already earned her Bachelor of Education degree, it was anticipated that she would graduate from UNISA this year and receive her diploma.
At her funeral, economic freedom fighters were spotted in large numbers; they came in large numbers to send a proper good-bye to one of their own. All of them were wearing red, and the casket was also covered with a red EFF cloth.
