Mzansi Magic says programs that talk about people’s lives are popular on this channel and it is happy to introduce a new one.
The new show, Ofuze , will talk about the life of the Maskandi artist Ihhashi Elimhlophe and his family.
According to the source the show will start on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) from January 19 at 8pm.
Shirley Adonisi, who is the director of local programs at M-Net, said they are happy that there is a new family joining their Mzansi Magic family.
“We have seen the success of programs that show the real life of famous families such as Thando Nes’thembu and The Ranakas. We are happy to bring Mzansi Magic viewers closer to the Ngcobos with this program. We hope that some of the things discussed will affect those who will be watching,” she said.
They will be presenting Bheki “Ihhashi Elihhoshi” Ngcobo and his wife Linah “Ebony” Ngcobo and their family.
The program is said to show the family in a way that has never been seen before, as their children will be trying to deviate from the rules set by their parents.
“The viewers will see that since the Ihhashi Elimhlophe have designed a good way but it is not a luxury for their children as they are raising them under strict rules.”
Their eldest son, Nathi, has four children and is determined to be independent and raise his family in his own way.
Ntombi Mzolo is said to have played the role of mediator in the family. She also has her own problems as two of her children died.
Their third child, Jabu, wants to leave home but is not willing to get married since it is a policy set by his parents that if he wants to have his own place, he must marry or be married.
The last one is Vusiwe who has a secret that she has hidden from everyone in the family.
