It’s often said that we live in an era of social media, where you can do almost anything on your phone. Some people have argued that social media has ruined societies because so many people these days care more about being popular than any other thing.

 

People could see someone in danger and they would choose to film the interaction and not even try to help the person. This shows that humanity is going in a different direction that the one we should go.

Speaking of filming someone who might be in danger instead of helping, there’s a video that has been all over social media lately, and the video shows exactly how social media has ruined a lot of people out there.

In the video, a woman can be seen standing next to a car that looks to have crashed and tipped over on the side of the road.

What was shocking in the video was the fact that people just stood there and took videos of the lady while she was just standing there, and not once was anyone heard asking if the woman is okay they just kept filming her, to the point where she even started arguing with the people who were taking videos of her.

A lot of people in the comments section of the video were upset that no one even tried to offer her help, some people were even saying that humanity is no longer a thing, as we could watch another human being suffer an accident like this and still watch them. One person even said that maybe her attitude was the reason why people weren’t helping her, but another responded by saying how should she have reacted after people just stood there and took videos of her.

We can do better as a country, it seems people have fallen into the mindset that they will be going viral no matter what happens.
