Idk I’m new to this so this was my first answer on quora (I know it’s distorted and messed up but who cares)~

Lost boy good relationship is harmonious. There has to be unity or you will constantly disagree.
Communication is important. It may be awkward in the beginning but it needs to at least improve over time. It should flow between two people. If one is doing all the talking and the other doesn’t want to talk about anything, it’s going to get frustrating really quick.
Companionship. You should enjoy being together. It doesn’t have to be all day or unhealthy, but when your together it should generally be enjoyable.
Respect. No one should be nagging, belittling, mocking, abusing, making fun of publicly or otherwise. There should be respect for each other. If you can’t respect him/her what are you even doing?
Humor. You better have humor or you’re in for hard days. Laugh together. Laugh at yourself. Have jokes between yourselves. Laughter makes hard days bearable.
Romance. I’m not talking about fancy dinners and expensive gifts and all of that. Romance can be found in simple actions. My dad used to pick flowers for his wife. It didn’t require much effort but his wife thought it was wonderful.
