Samuel Eto’o Celebrates His Mother After Cameroon Sets African World Cup Record In Win Over Brazil

Following Cameroon’s historic triumph over Brazil, Samuel Eto’o, president of the Cameroonian Football Federation, honored his mother.

Cameroon’s victory saw them break a milestone as they became the first African nation to defeat five-time champion Brazil on the largest international platform in World Cup history.

Moreover, Cameroon’s victory over Brazil was their first over the South American powerhouses in 19 years, since a narrow 1-0 victory at the 2003 Confederations Cup.

Despite the fact that Cameroon’s victory was insufficient to advance them to the competition’s knockout rounds, they were nonetheless pleased with their performance.

Samuel Eto’o congratulated his mother on social media after the final score, stating the victory was for her. Eto’o expressed his gratitude to his mother for never losing hope in him despite the doubts of others.
