One Mzansi man sharing his boujee meal had no idea he was about to be grilled like gammon.

Umshayi Wempama innocently shared a picture of his bill, revealing how much he paid for his favorite meal.

 

The prawns’ price was not what Mzansi saw; it was the below-ten percent tip that got them going.

While tipping is not required by law in Mzansi, it is considered courteous. One man tipped a waiter R15 on a bill totaling R555, and South Africans had none of it.

Umshayi Wempama believes his R15 tip is correct, but the people of Mzansi disagree.

The hospitality industry is extremely demanding! Some waiters work for peanuts and rely on tips to make ends meet. As a result, it raises a few eyebrows when someone does not even leave a 10% tip.
