DJ Sumbody was a South African DJ who recently passed away and shocked a number of people across the country. It was reported that the South African artist was shot dead in a drive by shooting in the early hours of Sunday the 20th of November. During this week a number of people were pay their respects to him and his family.

 

 

 

 

Yesterday the 26th of November it was his funeral. During his funeral Cassper Nyovest performed a song which seemed to have not pleased the people of social media, as they had a lot to say after seeing this video that was posted of Cassper Nyovest performing. The song that Cassper Nyovest was performing was the song “Monate Mpolaye” which is the song by DJ Sumbody and him.

This song that Cassper Nyovest was performing means that fun should kill him. People on social media then thought is was not suitable for Cassper to perform this song at DJ Sumbody’s funeral because of the lyrics of this song. However there were some on social media who were saying that Cassper was only paying his respect to DJ Sumbody with this song.

Some people however felt as if Cassper Nyovest should have performed this song during DJ sumbody’s memorial service and not at the funeral as that would be understandable. Others were however saying that Cassper Nyovest is very strong to be performing at his friend’s funeral, as they even mentioned that this was not an easy thing to do when u are suppose to perform or speak at your friends funeral.
