Tlotlo, the partner of DJ Sumbody, submitted an emotional letter to the musician for a memorial service at the Lewende Woord church in Centurion, Gauteng, on Wednesday.

On Sunday, Oupa John Sefoka was fatally murdered in Johannesburg.

Thandiwe Sefoka, his sister, read the letter on behalf of an emotional Tlotlo.

a heartfelt letter. I am overcome with sadness and suffering as I lay here. We had so many activities planned that I am overcome with emotion. I am extremely appreciative of the time we spent together. After 12 years of love, joy, and sorrow, I am so grateful to have contributed to your achievement. I support you with pride and am pleased with the man you were. I am pleased with your leadership in our lives. As I type this, tears are streaming down my face because our home will never be the same without you.

No more yelling “Baby!” from the second floor because you cannot find your clothing. I’m very mad. However, I want you to know that I adore you. No words can adequately express it. The suffering is intense. Seeing you accomplish all you discussed while you were broke is a true blessing. None of it is taken for granted.

To Sbu, who loved and protected my husband, I want you to know that he cherished you as a friend, and I am grateful for your presence. May the heavens receive your spirits, both of you.

I am really grateful to my family for welcoming Oupa into our lives and cherishing him. Ma’ Sefoka, I am very grateful for your continued embrace. I am so grateful for the kindness you have bestowed upon me. He was respectful, loving, and kind. To the entire Sefoka family, thank you so much for your unfailing love and support.
