The end of Rhythm City left many without jobs and others with something different to focus on besides acting. 

One of Mzansi actors who went to a different route is coming back to do what he does best which is acting. 

Bohlokwa Mpiti is a South African media personality known for being an actor. He is popular known from Rhythm City whereby he appeared as Zak. Mpiti was the son of Khulekani who he never knew until he was older and had to work for him. His role rotated around his mother, Ziyanda and father who was Khukekani on the mentioned show. Mpiti was away from television screens for some time but the end of Rhythm City was not the end of him. He has bagged a new role and will be seen on Scandalas from tonight. 

 

 

 

 

 

He will be playing the role of Karabo Pheko who will appear as the only son of Reginald Pheko. 

Bohlokwa Mpiti speaking about his new role of Karabo Pheko on Scandal said, “His mother passed away about 10 years ago. He’s very much of a spoilt brat who looks down on people. His relationship with his father strengthened after his mother’s passing”.

“I love challenging roles and Karabo is challenging to me. One would think that i myself look like a rich kid and it wouldn’t be too farfetched to play the characters but i didn’t grow up how Karabo grew up”, Botlhokwa added. 

It is good to see Bohlokwa being given an opportunity to go back to television screens. Life must have not been easy after Rhythm City came to an end but it is good he kept pushing until he was able to be recognised again. Congratulations are in order for him. May he continue doing well in entertaining viewers and be recognised for bigger roles.
