Basetsana Julia “Bassie” Kumalo is a renowned South African television personality, beauty pageant titleholder, businesswoman, and also a philanthropist.Kumalo’s career began in the 90’s she was crowned Miss Soweto and Miss Black South Africa at the age of 16.She was born and raised in Soweto,Gauteng Province,South Africa. She was brought into the world on 29 March 1974,he is currently at the age of 48 as of November 2022.

 

Basetsana is currently married to her long time sweetheart Romeo Kumalo and the union is blessed with three lovely children named uShaka Kgositsile Emmanuel Kumalo,and Nkosinathi Gabriel Kumalo.
