She joined the drama Skeem Saam on SABC 1 in 2021 when Mzansi Magic’s Isibaya ended. Samukele Mkhize-Masindi, a newlywed actress, and her Venda businessman husband are expecting their first child. This comes after the lobola and traditional wedding that the couple had on September 24. Samukele’s close friend told Zimoja that she is indeed expecting and is happy. She has been needing a child for quite a while and she is so blissful and I’m glad for her,” the source says.” The lovely thing is that it occurred in her marriage. She waited to get married before having a child, not to judge anyone.

 

 

ON AND OFF SCREEN PREGNANT

According to the friend, Samukele and her businessman husband got married this year in a traditional ceremony in KwaZulu-Natal, and the friend says, “she has been glowing.” She has benefited greatly from marriage. She ought to get it. The pregnancy was confirmed by a friend and colleague who do not wish to compromise their relationship. She is about to give birth. Unless you look closely, she is not yet showing. On set, not many people are aware. GETTING TO KNOW SAMUKELE MKHIZE-MASINDI

Samukele was born and raised in Maphophoma, a village in Durban. She has always been a part of church activities because both of her grandparents served as pastors. She started acting in 2006 and was a member of a KwaMashu, KwaZulu Natal, amateur drama, music, and dance group. She met Edmund Mhlongo, the Community Art Centre’s artistic director, who recognized her potential and helped her develop. She became well-known in the acting world when she got her first leading role in the groundbreaking musical Madame President Musical in 2008.
