New ”It Girl” Alert: Meet Gugulethu Mayisela, The South African Teenager Who Won Miss Teen World Title

A South African teenager is making the Zkhiphani coast proud with a major achievement. Gugulethu Mayisela, 18, has been crowned Teen World 2022 after competing in the international pageant in Ecuador.
Hailing all the way from Johannesburg, Gugu competed against several eager teenagers from all around the world and won this renowned distinction . She was crowned after several events, including a preliminary judging portion of the pageant where participants had to show off their skills.

Her four-year pageantry experience began in 2018. She has previously been crowned Miss Eco Teen South Africa and Miss Teen World South Africa, among other titles . Both are renowned as being South Africa’s two largest teen pageants. She told her Manager Mr. Sonwabile Gingqishe that she has been captivated by the sparkle and glamour of pageantry since a young age and has always wanted to try it out.

 

 

 

She also desired a platform where she could use her enthusiasm for supporting young people’s education as a budding philanthropist unlocking young people’s future is education. Her mission is to help young people get better resources so they can improve their education. Her entry into the media and entertainment sector is one of her long-term objectives.

Mayisela, who is in her final year of high school, said she would like to study accounting science, and be in the fashion industry and strut the runways.

“I have hopes of entering Miss South Africa and further being crowned Miss Universe one day,” she said.
