It might be one of the most watched soapies in the country, but Skeem Saam stories over the last few years has seen a number of it’s characters getting away with murder or crime.
Just last week we saw Lehasa Maphosa played by Cedric Fourie, get away with murdering his former close ally Fanie Maseremula, after he was found not guilty of his murder even though he did kill him.
And on Monday’s episode, Paxton Kgomo played by Thabiso Molokomme got away with wrong doing, after he was announced as the winner of the story writing competition.
His crime was that he stole the story from another learner, Mosebjadi played by Zizo Sobutyu.
Viewers of the soapie are now threatening to quit watching, as they accuse the show of teaching people that criminality and wrong doing eventually pay.
As for Paxton, ever since he came to Turfloop high school he has gotten away with every wrong thing he has done. From his pranks which left the school’s then deputy principal getting blind. Below is what the skeem saam viewers had to say.
With Skeem Saam known as an educational soapie, they need to live by that and show that criminal activities and bullying or any form of wrong doing, should not be rewarded but punished and hopefully Paxton will pay for his crime and Mosebjadi will be rewarded.
