Former Scandal actress Masasa claps back at a Twitter user on Nomvelo’s alleged exit reason

Nomvelo Makhanya is a South African actress and singer, she is best known for playing the role of Lindiwe Ngema on etv’s soapie Scandal from 2013 to 2022. She also starred on a number of local tv shows including Isibaya, Soul City and the Netflix film I Am All Girls.


 

 

She became a household name, while playing the role of Lindiwe Ngema on etv’s soapie Scandal. A few months ago, Nomvelo announced that she is leaving the soapie after nine of being on the show.

She exited the etv soapie this past Thursday and she trended on social media platforms.

Speculations were made and people made allegations that Makhanya is leaving the show because her boyfriend was not comfortable with her kissing other men on Tv.

One Twitter user wrote:

“Apparently she’s leaving scandal because her boyfriend told her that she is not comfortable with her kissing other men on tv. She’s ditching a lead role that she’s good at for a boyfriend.”

Former Scandal actress, Masasa Mbangeni, who played the role of Thembeka on the soapie, quickly addressed the Twitter user. She retweeted the tweet and wrote:
