Lindiwe Nxumalo confirmed the sad passing away of Mxo, it has been a heavy week for sports lovers a few days ago we lost Pearl Shongwe now Mxo.

 
She tweeted with a heavy heart, she was not able to give us the necessary details regarding the course of his death.

He played a huge role when it comes to the development of football in South Africa. Lindiwe Nxumalo met him while she was doing varsity football as well and ever since he’s been ever-present in her life.

The sad part about the life of Momo, he never really got his flowers while he was alive. He did a lot for football, he had a passion for the development of beautiful games. He didn’t care about the money, he produced a lot of stars, and he had a great impact on the lives of many.

He did a lot of beautiful things for the children of Pretoria, he was part of the tournaments and also he was associated with Supersport United. We know the team produced the likes of Teko Modise & Ronwen Williams today he’s the captain of the national team.

The man loved football, to be honest with you and he didn’t care about fame and money. He was a man of substance he understood the tactical side of the game.

He played his role, and the next generation of footballers is going to miss a figure like he may his soul rest in peace.

We should learn to celebrate people whenever they’re still alive because a lot of times we don’t know what we’ve got until it’s gone. He was a legend of the beautiful game, and his impact is going to be unmatched, he was unique and he was loved by many. Rest in peace.
