Zahara opens up about choosing to save her home in a different way

Award-winning musician Zahara has scored herself a new reality TV show which is set to debut on SABC1. The entertainment blogger Phil Mphela shared a clip from the show that was played at SABC Video Entertainment showcase in Johannesburg on Wednesday.

 

In the clip, fans got a sneak peek at what they can expect from the reality show. One episode features Zahara getting emotional as she talked about her financial struggles that nearly led to the foreclosure of her house.

“I have done nothing wrong to anyone here in Gauteng, but people think they have a right to torture me. For what? Who did I wronged?”. She asked.

Zahara found herself in desperate need of help as she stood a chance to lose her townhouse in Roodepoort.

“The reason why I spoke about my financial issues and that my house would be repossessed Is because I did not want to involve other people. I am beautiful but I did not want open my legs for men there are many millionaires and billionaires that want me”. Said Zahara.

The singer’s townhouse was set to be auctioned by 7 May 2022, after she defaulted on her monthly installments of R17,665.

She told reports that it’s true she was on the verge of losing her home, and said she was given a six-day grace period to pay her R1.9-million home loan.

“It’s all true. I went to Nedbank and they gave me more days”. Said Zahara.

She pleaded with her fans, to help her save her home, by making donations, as little as R100.
