Pearl Shongwe was a South African television presenter,newsreader,voice over artist, facilitator and media personality. She was born and bred in Soweto, Gauteng Province in South Africa. She was brought into the world on 03 January 1987, she died at the age of 35.At the time of her death she was still working at Metro fm.

According to the family the SABC Metro FM news presenter Pearl Shongwe has died in her sleep.The family asked for privacy as they are mourning the death of their beloved daughter.Details surrounding her burial is not yet known but we hope to hear the news soon.

“Our daughter was a celebrated radio broadcaster and TV presenter. Her presence will forever live on in our hearts.”

Although Pearl Shongwe was a private however we managed to get a gorgeous picture of her lovely mother.
