Thabiso Cornet Mamabolo is a well-known actor from South Africa’s famous television series Skeem Saam. He is part of the cast which debuted with the show almost a decade ago. Thabiso played the character of Thabo Maputla, a young and ambitious boy from a very rich family in Turfloop.

Unfortunately Thibos left our screens over a year ago when it was said that he is going overseas to explore a new work and life. Thabo left his parents Meikie and John Maputla, together with his baby mama Mapitsi and their son Pitsi, not forgetting his brother Leeto.

 

 

 

 

 

 

According to what Thabiso shared on his social media, he will be returning to TV but not at Maputla’s house. Apparently he will be playing a different character for a different series on a different channel from where Skeem Saam is aired.

“I know you missed me on your screens. I’m coming different this time, as ‘Lerumo’ on The River.” Thabiso told his followers.

The River is one of the biggest series being broadcast on Mzansi Magic’s channel 103 on DSTV. It features South Africa’s famous actors like Sindi Dlathu and Presley Chweneyagae on its cast.

Thabiso’s fans reacted with excitement to the news that he is finally coming back on TV. Most of them indicated that they would like to see him back at Skeem Saam, but then work is work, it might not be his decision to make.
